Sam Eckelmann

Sam Eckelmann has more than 25 years of experience in operations, consulting and software development in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Pendo Systems, he was President of efSolutions, a software company that offered a suite of software applications including BasisPoint. Mr. Eckelmann was previously a Managing Partner with E/W Group, a consulting firm he founded and led since 1991. With a background in capital markets and investment accounting systems, he performed numerous engagements for many top financial services firms and service providers. Mr. Eckelmann previously was a Managing Director at SS&C Technologies where he was responsible for directing the ongoing development and maintenance of the CamraT investment accounting system. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Director of Compliance at Advest Inc., and the Director of Trading and Operations for J.S. Barr & Co. Mr. Eckelmann is a qualified securities broker and NASD Principal, and holds a degree in economics from Cornell University.

Alexander Kouperman

One of the founding partners of InfoHedge. Holds Bachelor Degrees in public accounting as well as computer science from the City University of New York. An alumni of several executive education programs from Harvard University & MIT. Mr. Kouperman has 15 years of experience in the financial technology industry. He built a number of high availability infrastructures for financial services firms. Mr. Kouperman has extensive expertise in architecting, building, and implementing financial applications ranging from the Real Time Trading & Risk Management Systems to robust reference data products such as Security Master Databases. Prior to founding InfoHedge, served as Chief Information Officer of Alexandra Investment Management, a multi-strategy, multi-billion dollar hedge fund as well as worked with over 150 various alternative investment firms. Mr. Kouperman is responsible for leading strategic and business development of InfoHedge. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and leadership forums.
